Doron is a former Division-I athlete who earned a football scholarship to play at Bethune-Cookman College in addition to having a brief stint as a walk-on at the University of South Carolina. Doron's journey has been shaped by many challenges that has tested both his mental and emotional fortitude in sports and life. Now, as a licensed marriage and family therapist, Doron specializes in bringing a systems-based approach to sports as an Emotional Intelligence (EQ) and Sports Culture Architect. He recognizes that athletic performance and team culture is shaped not only by individual behavior, but by the roles, relationships, and patterns that exist within the system.

In this capacity, Doron's work is educational and developmental in nature, and is designed to help athletes, coaches, and leaders enhance communication, accountability, cohesion, and composure under pressure. While his psychotherapist background and EQ & Sports Culture Architect roles draw from the same foundation of psychological insight and human development, they operate in distinct professional contexts. His consulting and leadership development work with sports teams does not constitute psychotherapy.
