Work With Doron
1. What does an Emotional Intelligence & Sports Culture Architect do?
An Emotional Intelligence & Sports Culture Architect helps sports teams develop the leadership behaviors, emotional awareness, and cultural standards that allow athletes and coaches to consistently perform with composure when under pressure. Doron's work focuses on strengthening three key areas within teams: individual emotional intelligence development, leadership behavior, and team culture. Through structured frameworks such as the R.I.N.G. Culture Model, He help teams build environments where composure, accountability, and trust become competitive advantages.
2. How is this different from sports psychology or mental performance training?
Sports psychology and mental performance training often focus on helping individual athletes strengthen mental skills such as focus, confidence, visualization, and performance routines. Doron's work focuses on the broader performance environment by emphasizing how coaches and team leaders influence the environment in which athletes operate. Rather than concentrating only on individual mental skills, He work with both athletes and coaches to strengthen emotionally intelligent behavior, enhance communication and accountability; and develop cultures that value trust, respect, and togetherness so they can perform at peak level when the stakes are the highest.
3. Who does Doron typically work with?
Doron work primarily supports high school athletic programs, collegiate athletic programs, professional teams, coaches and leadership groups, and high-performing organizations. These teams are often looking to strengthen leadership alignment, improve team culture and cohesion, and develop individuals who can perform with composure and clarity in high-pressure environments.
4. What types of challenges do teams usually bring to you?
Many teams reach out when they notice challenges such as emotional reactivity during competition, breakdowns in communication or trust, leadership inconsistencies, difficulty maintaining composure when pressure rises, or cultural misalignment within the team. Addressing these challenges often requires strengthening emotional intelligence at both the individual and leadership level.
5. What is the R.I.N.G. Culture Model?
The R.I.N.G. Culture Model describes how emotionally intelligent teams develop the leadership and cultural stability required for sustained championship performance.
The model progresses through five developmental layers: Self-Possessed Athlete, Self-Possessed Leader, Self-Possessed Culture, EQuanimous Mindset, and Championship Performance. By developing self-awareness, emotional regulation, effective leadership practices, and team accountability, sports organizations are able to establish environments where peak performances becomes more consistent and teams are more resilient.
6. What does working together typically look like?
Engagements vary depending on the needs of your team, but may include culture assessments, leadership development sessions, athlete workshops focused on emotional intelligence and composure, and consulting with coaches and staff on team culture development. The goal is to strengthen both individual and team performance through emotionally intelligent leadership and culture design.
7. Do you provide therapy to teams or athletes?
Doron's work with teams is focused on leadership development, emotional intelligence, and performance culture, not clinical treatment. While he is a licensed psychotherapist (LMFT), his consulting work in athletic organizational settings is educational and developmental in nature. He focuses on helping athletes and leaders strengthen emotional awareness, communication, composure, and accountability in high-pressure environments.
Clinical psychotherapy is provided only within a formal therapeutic setting and therapeutic agreement. Consulting and team development work does not constitute psychotherapy.
8. When is the best time for a team to bring you in?
The most effective time to work together is before challenges escalate. Many teams reach out when they notice issues with communication, leadership alignment, emotional reactions during competition, or cultural consistency. However, the greatest impact often occurs when teams intentionally invest in leadership development and culture architecture before problems arise.
9. What does it cost to work together?
Cost vary depending on the needs of the team. Some teams bring Doron in to lead a single workshop or leadership session, while others engage in a more comprehensive process that includes culture assessments, leadership development, and team workshops over multiple days.
Since each team has different goals, the best approach is to begin with a conversation about the needs of your team or organization. From there, he can recommend an approach and provide pricing based on the scope of the engagement.
